Henry Scanlon
...was co-founder and CEO of Comstock Images, a pioneer international photo agency. With headquarters in NYC and offices in London, Paris, Berlin, Luxembourg and Toronto, Comstock specialized in producing and marketing high-end lifestyle photography for stock usage. Scanlon is no longer associated with the company, which is currently a division of Getty Images.
Scanlon was elected for three years as president of The Picture Agency Council of America, and was a national runner-up for the Merrill Lynch/Inc. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year award.
From college days penning plays and throughout his business career, Scanlon has been a prolific writer: Author (Harper & Row; St. Martin's Press); essayist (American Photographer, The Photo District News, Newsweek and many other publications); more currently The Federalist, The American Thinker and Ricochet.
He resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with his wife, Alice.
